To ensure the collar functions correctly, it must be fitted properly:

1. Placement: Place the collar around your cat's neck and thread the end through the buckle.

2. The "Two-Finger" Rule: Tighten the collar until you can comfortably slide two fingers between the collar and your cat's neck.

3. Growth Room: For kittens, leave 2–3 inches of extra length to allow for growth.

4. Trimming: Cut off any excess length and dispose of it in the trash.
